30 Day Crafting Challenge
To get started, the 30 day crafting challenge will begin on April 1, 2023. This gives you a little over a week to get ready and gather your supplies for the challenge! I’M SO EXCITED!

You won’t need a lot of expensive things for this challenge. Most likely, you probably already have a lot of the stuff that I will be using to make some very unique and original crafts. You just need to have an idea of what to have right? Right! So here is a rough idea of things to keep at the ready for the challenge…
- Cardboard boxes
- Acrylic paints
- Old T-shirts, or material
- Old vases, or Dollar Tree Vases
- Dollar Tree blanks (more on that in the post)
- Painter’s Caulk
- Gold or Silver Thumbtacks
- Different cans of spray paint
- Old candles
- Adhesives like Mod Podge, Hot Glue, E6000 glue,
- Cotton Rope
- Plaster mix
- Silicone Molds
- Scrap Wood
- Scrapbook Paper
- Vinyl and HTV Vinyl
- Thrift Store Containers
- Dollar Tree Picture Frames, or old picture frames
- Paint Brushes
Wow, have I piqued your curiosity? I hope so! See – not a lot of expensive things! I would be willing to bet you have a lot of this stuff already! And if you don’t have everything, don’t worry – it’s easy and affordable to get.
Dollar Tree Blanks
I bet you’re wondering, what the heck are Dollar Tree blanks? Well, you know all of those pretty and colorful seasonal signs that Dollar Tree has? Well, these signs work great for blanks – or components of a craft, not necessarily being used as they are when you pick them up.

I have lots of blanks. So many blanks.
This is because every time I go to Dollar Tree, I pick up a few more. Or, I see a new style of sign and think ‘Oh I could make this into a …” And that’s how it always begins. This has led me to have a lot of different ‘blanks’ ready to be transformed into something unique, beautiful, and all mine.

Just as an example, I made this ‘hippity hop’ sign using a Dollar Tree ‘blank’, and a Dollar Tree 5×7 frame. Pretty neat right?
