It’s time to start planning for the holidays. And I wanted to share some holiday Dollar Tree DIYS to help you transform your home for the holiday season. Are you ready to see some beautiful DIYS? I hope so!
Creating Christmas Home Decor on a Budget
Have you done some browsing on the internet for inspiration to start planning your holiday decor this season? I know I have! And one of my favorite places to start my search is Pottery Barn. I LOVE looking at the gorgeous photos they have with all of the beautiful decorator items they have.
I wish my living room looked like this! But I look at photos like this to inspire myself to create different crafts that look like they could have come from Pottery Barn. I also look for bargains that match this type of style. Because while I love the look, I don’t love the price tag associated with most things Pottery Barn.
This often leads me to searching out more affordable options, and more specifically, Dollar Tree.
I made this arrangement with a thrifted basket, red berry picks that I found on Amazon, and pine branches, bottle brush trees, and a house Christmas ornament from Dollar Tree. I also added in a strand of fairy lights that I bought at Dollar Tree too.
Affordable Christmas Decor Supplies from Dollar Tree
I always look for craft supplies at Dollar Tree first. Usually, I can find things that are very helpful and affordable options to add to craft stash to make decor pieces for my decorating.
To make this winter village I used things I found at Dollar Tree. The houses, fairy lights and the tray were the two things I needed to craft this piece. I bought the bottle brush trees on Amazon. I got a set of 30 different size trees that I was able to use in multiple projects. The trees ended up costing about $.50 each.
Holiday Dollar Tree DIYS
And if you get really thrifty, you can make Christmas decor using Dollar Tree supplies, and things you already have.
Like this snowman top hat. I made this using a charger plate, ribbon, and glitter that I got from Dollar Tree. Along with a coffee can to make the top of the top hat. Along with a few embellishments from my stash, and I was able to make this adorable hat. I LOVE the way it turned out!
And this craft was just one of many that I shared in my last video.
Have you watched this video? If you haven’t, I show you the process of each of these crafts from start to finish. And I would LOVE it if you would stop by, check out a video or two, and subscribe to my channel!
I don’t like to clutter my website with advertisements. I know I hate visiting sites that have so many ads popping up, it ruins my experience on sites I used to love visiting. And I didn’t want my website to look like that. So I don’t have any advertisements popping up. I am not signed up to ad programs.
I make a living by doing the work, and hopefully, giving you a better viewing experience. So if you are enjoying an ad free viewing experience on my website, would you consider supporting me by subscribing to my YouTube channel?
I am going to work harder at putting out materials lists for the projects, and putting the step by step instructions here as well.
And if you visit the website first, you may get a sneak peek at projects that are going to be in my upcoming videos. Like the winter village, the candles, and the gingerbread tin ornament photos that are in this post. All of these projects are in some upcoming videos!
Craft Along with Me!
