DIY Fall Centerpieces
I searched through my own creations, as well as taking a deep dive on the internet, searching for the most beautiful centerpieces for fall. Many of these creations can be replicated easily. I hope you are able to find a lovely centerpiece that fits your style!
Vintage Crate Centerpiece
Tidbits shows how easy it is to DIY a flannel table runner and then add a few vintage elements to create a simple and easy centerpiece. You could even add a few fall stems to elevate the look.
Scarf Table Runner
Or you can take a fall-colored scarf and use that as a table runner. I found this Eddie Bauer plaid scarf at a thrift store, brand new with the tags still on it for $2. Then I added some plastic pumpkins that I spray painted white and some greenery. This is an easy project you can do in the afternoon!
Wheat Centerpiece
This is a beautiful centerpiece that is so pretty and very easy to make with the easy to follow instructions on Clean & Scentsible.
Wheat Bundle Centerpiece
And if you’re loving the wheat bundles, how about this centerpiece? The bundled wheat is so pretty with the burlap ribbon. You can find the instructions at Uncommon Designs.

Or how about a plastic pumpkin painted and covered with succulents? This is a fun and easy DIY project. And you can watch the video of me showing you how to do it right here.
FALL Mason Jars

Pumpkin Candle Holders
This is just so delicate and beautiful. It’s also really simple to recreate using the instructions from Stone Gable. Just beautiful.
Fall Candle Ring Wreath

Farmhouse Style Fall Centerpiece
I love the soft colors of this centerpiece created by House by Hoff. Just so pretty! I think the aged crate really elevates this centerpiece. What do you think?
Muted Fall Color Tablescape
This is a beautiful centerpiece or tablescape crafted by The Unlikely Hostess. You can find the complete step-by-step instructions on how to create the look on her website.
Fall Dough Bowl Centerpiece
This is a unique way to use a dough bowl. First lay a table runner, then add the dough bowl, and fill it with your favorite fall elements. You can see more of her style on the website First Day of Home.
Coffee Table Centerpiece
And centerpieces are not just reserved for the dining room table. Oh no! We can’t forget about other table centerpieces, such as this coffee table centerpiece created by The Ponds Farmhouse.
Rustic Tray
Here is another coffee tabletop centerpiece display. The different textures and pops of color are truly inspiring to craft a similar centerpiece. You can see more of Noting Grace’s Fall home tour on her website.
Soft Fall Colors Tiered Tray
This is a gorgeous centerpiece using a lot of different elements from Dollar Tree. If you are inspired to craft and create affordable decor pieces using Dollar Tree items, you may want to check out The Latina Next Door. She has a lot of inspiring ideas that are affordable to create.
Rustic Farm Style Centerpiece
And if you are searching for a more rustic and natural centerpiece, you may want to check out Southern Revivals website for some beautiful inspiration
Penny Table Runner
This is truly unique, and I have never seen anything like this Penny Runner. It is gorgeous! And you can find the instructions on how to make one for yourself at JenRon Designs.
DIY Dollar Tree Rustic Tray
If you don’t have a tray, you can make one! It’s really easy with 7 18″ long shelf sitters from Dollar Tree and a pair of drawer pulls. I found these at Hobby Lobby in the clearance section at the back of the store. Add a coat of paint, and you will have a beautiful rustic tray for decorating.
As a side note, the metal pumpkin was made from metal ribbon I found at Dollar Tree too!
Rustic Wooden Box
Or you could make a rustic wooden box using the unfinished wooden boxes from Dollar Tree. Then add a little bit of greenery and pumpkins in your favorite colors. I had a few sunflower stems so I added those as well!
DIY Beaded Vase
Or you could take a tall cylinder vase from Dollar Tree, wrap it with rope and beads, and then paint it. I was going for a terra cotta look, so I added a little bit of sand to the paint in order to give the vase some texture.
Fall Foliage Basket
This is so pretty in classic fall colors. Think how beautiful this would be on your table. There are a few basic instructions on how she did this on The Opulent Cottage’s website. It doesn’t look like it would be too difficult to make.
Farmhouse Galvanized Tray Centerpiece
And this piece is gorgeous. I love the galvanized tray. The different heights of the centerpiece are what give this centerpiece an elegant look. You can learn how to do this yourself at the Worthing Court Blog.
Rustic White Pumpkin Centerpiece
Now this is a spectacular and simple centerpiece to create. You can learn more about it at An Oregon Cottage.
Fall Centerpiece with Vegetables
I love how this vegetable centerpiece looks. Isn’t it beautiful? And original! I have never seen anything quite like this. You can find step-by-step instructions on how to make this centerpiece at Shabby FuFu.
Rustic Raised Tray
If you are looking for an easy raised tray to DIY, you gotta check out the video I just made of how to DIY a Raised Tray using cheapie fence boards from Home Depot. A few Dollar Tree additions and 4 drawer knobs are what make this fence board look like something much, much more.
Farmhouse Fall Table
Adding really real pumpkins and flowers to your table for fall is definitely beautiful. And again, the different levels of the pieces really help to make this tablescape unique and beautiful. You can find out how to do it at Sarah Joy’s Blog.
Terra Cotta Planter & Pumpkins Centerpiece
This is such a pretty look. You still have the orange from the planters. Adding the white pumpkins is a very nice contrast to the garden appearance of this centerpiece. You can find out how to do it on Liz Marie’s Blog.
Amber Vase Simple Centerpiece
The Amber Vase is beautiful with its deep colors. And you can check out the entire tablescape on Crafty Berry Bush.
Heather Plants Centerpiece
This is simple yet elegant. This centerpiece was created by Miss Mustard Seed. And I love that she used what she had. In fact, the name of her post is called “Working with What You Have.” It amazes me what you can come up with using things that you already have.
Neutral and Natural
Or, if you are looking for a more neutral tablescape, how about this creation from Janelle Trinette?
Fall Candle DIY Centerpiece
This is an oldie, but a good one for sure! Almost all of the materials used for crafting this centerpiece are available at Dollar Tree. And you can find out how to make it by visiting Albion Gould.
Glitter Pumpkin Centerpiece
I have found this photo of glitter pumpkins more times than I can count when searching for “glitter pumpkins.” But the post is missing. The author, unknown. So I decided to see if I could craft this glitter pumpkin myself.
I didn’t use real pumpkins. I used foam and plastic pumpkins that I already had. The secret I have found is how you apply the glitter and what type of glitter you use. I chose ultra-fine gold glitter. And I think the results speak for themselves!
Pinecone Centerpiece
If you have some pinecones in your yard, you can craft a simple yet beautiful centerpiece like this one from The Cutest Blog on the Block.
Black and White
You could also try something simple like having black and white elements as the focal point and then add in some colorful fall florals, along with some fruit.

How Do You Make a Fall Centerpiece?
If you are inspired but still not quite sure if you can do this, trust me…YOU can!
Begin by incorporating a foundational item, such as a tray, wooden box, vase, basket, or dough bowl. Next, choose a focal point, such as a petite pumpkin, candles, or autumnal florals. Encircle this central element with seasonal components like autumn leaves, berry sprays, acorns, pine cones, and miniature gourds.
Introducing different heights among these elements will infuse your arrangement with dimension and captivating appeal. Remember that the essence lies in simplicity; avoid overwhelming your centerpiece. Give space for each individual element to radiate while harmonizing with the rest.
And remember, there is no right or wrong when it comes to this. Do what you love, and you will be able to create something beautiful!
